Note: Our products are only suitable for cars equipped with OEM-Carplay /Android Auto systems after 2016, and do not support any third-party installed CarPlay/Android Auto systems.

About the conditions of use of mobile phones

1. Wireless Carplay: supports iPhone 6 or above, the software version is iOS 10 or above
2. For wireless Android Auto: supports Android 11 or above mobile phone models, and the Android phone needs to support wireless Android Auto
3. Regarding Huawei mobile phones, Huawei devices have their own mobile operating system-EMUl. Unfortunately, Android Auto wireless does not support EMUl.

How to use Wireless CarPlay?

1. The original car comes with OEM Wired Apple CarPlay

2. Plug & play (please plug the wireless dongle into the USB/Type-c interface of the original car)

3. After the connection is successful, the device interface will appear.

4. Please turn on Bluetooth and WIFI on your Apple phone and search for the device Bluetooth name “Smart Dongle-xxxx”

How to use Wireless Android Auto?

1. Original car comes with OEM Wired Android Auto

2. Plug & Play (please plug the wireless dongle into the USB/Type-c interface of the original car)

3. Since Android Auto does not have a product interface, you need to directly turn on the Bluetooth of the mobile phone to search for “Smart Dongle-xxxx”. Please turn on the Bluetooth and WIFI of the Android phone and search for the device Bluetooth name “Smart Dongle-xxxx”

If the device CANNOT CONNECT, please try these two methods:

1. Delete the Bluetooth connection record of the old device on your mobile phone. It may be that your car prefers to connect to the Bluetooth of the old device and cannot recognize “Smart Dongle-xxxx”
2. Restore your car screen to original factory settings and reconnect to “Smart Dongle-xxxx”

Switching between Android Auto and CarPlay

1. If you are using an Apple phone, connect the device Bluetooth and the devic will automatically switch to CarPlay mode
2. If you are using an Android phone, connect the device Bluetooth and the device will automatically switch to Android Auto mode
3. The device will automatically switch according to the phone system. Just keep it powered on and connect the device Bluetooth and wait for the switch to succeed

Precautions: In order for you to have a better experience, this product supports OTA online upgrade function. When the device cannot be used normally or performance problems occur after the mobile phone system is upgraded, it is recommended to upgrade the device to the latest version. If the device is working normally, it is usually not recommended. Upgrade firmware.

About Upgrading

1. Visit the backend page.
   Please use the mobile phone connection device Wifi “Smart Box-xxxx” and enter the password: “12345678” to open the Safaris on Apple phones or the Chrome browser on Android phones, enter the IP address”192.168.1.101″, and select “Access” or “Go” Enter the online upgrade backend

   If you cannot enter, please check whether the mobile phone Wifi is correct and quickly connect to the wireless conversion box

2. Firmware upgrade
   After entering the URL page, it will automatically check whether there is a new version. If the system prompts “New version found”, please click “Upgrade” until the upgrade is completed; if the system prompts “Already the latest version”, there is no need to upgrade.

Note:

1. Please insert the device into the normal USB port for upgrading or downgrading. Do not power off or plug in the wireless adapter box during the process
2. If the upgrade is abnormal, please turn off the power to automatically power off the USB port, and then try to upgrade or downgrade again
3. After the upgrade or downgrade is completed, reinsert the device into the car’s central control USB port. At this time, the device number has been randomly updated, and you need to re-operate the Bluetooth and WIFI connection on the mobile phone
